Touched down in Sin City at 2:30 with the whole day to explore. As soon as we arrived we walked around the strip and explored the beautiful hotels and casinos Pallazo and Venetian. Next, we went to Fremont street, also known as downtown and where Las Vegas all began . We had a casual dinner at Park on Fremont, where they had a beautiful courtyard in the back. I recommend you eating dinner there if you visit Fremont, it’s a great inexpensive option (which is hard to find in Vegas).
We woke up SUPER early, due to the jet lag, and went to brunch at Kitchen Table off of the strip in Henderson, Nevada. Their brunch was so delicious, I order the Monte Cristo and a guava mimosa. We then traveled about 30 minutes and went to the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. It was absolutely breathtaking!! Later, we had drinks at The Chandelier at the Cosmopolitan (it was legit inside of a chandelier) then dinner at Beauty & Essex. I recommend next time you go to Vegas, New York, or LA to go there, it is seriously the best food and a cool atmosphere. Lastly, we ended the night watching the fountain at the Bellagio. We attempted to go to a club this night, Drai’s, but it was not really our cup of tea.
Started the day out with breakfast at the Bellagio Café to fuel up for the pool at Caesar’s Palace (working on that bikini bod). This pool is a must! A lot of people I know that have been to Vegas go to the crazy pool parties; but Caesar’s is the most beautiful and it’s still fun without all of the fist pumping meatheads. Later, we went to The Beatles Love Cirque De Soleil show at the Mirage. It was such a beautiful show! If you are on the hunt for a must see show while there, I strongly recommend that one.
