Today I wanted to do a more personal post because so many new and exciting things have happened in my life lately! I want for my readers who don’t know me to feel as if they actually do when reading my blog. To fix this, I am going to start doing more personal posts so y’all can get to know me a little better! I have a lot to catch y’all up on today, so lets get started!
First, as many of you know I recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia with my boyfriend Sam. Prior to this we had spent 3 of our 3 1/2 year long relationship as long distance. So this step was huge for us! While I was living in Tuscaloosa attending college at The University of Alabama, Sam lived in Pittsburgh for grad school & then Atlanta for work. These past few months of getting to do life together everyday have been nothing short of amazing. We FINALLY get to do normal couple things!
Second, I have been interning with fab’rik at their corporate office for the past view months in the e-commerce department. Upon starting my internship they asked me to begin modeling for fab’rik for our products, lifestyle pictures for Instagram, and our marketing ads. This is something completely new to me, but I have truly enjoyed the opportunity to do it! I am getting to see a whole different side of the retail industry by doing this. Plus, it helps me have tons of pictures for blog posts (hint hint… this blog post)!
Third, YOUR GIRL IS EMPLOYEED! I have recently accepted a full time position with fab’rik as the E-Commerce Coordinator!!! Upon the completion of my internship in December I will assume my position. I am so thankful to have been given this opportunity! I am also very lucky to have been able land a job in my field of study before even officially graduating college. I am excited to learn more about the industry and to be a part of the fab’rik team officially! (Keep scrolling for the BEST news!!)
NOW, I saved the best news for last– ME AND SAM GOT A DOG! He is the most precious angel. His name is Marshall and he is a Frenchton, which is a French Bulldog mixed with a Boston Terrier. He is only 9 months old and he has kept our lives busy and fun since he became part of our family. We have only had him a few days and I love him so much already. Marshall’s favorite things to do are give kisses, go for walks, and play with his Darth Vader toy!
